Insurance Manager Jobs
An insurance manager position may be available with a financial agency, insurance agency or an insurance department. An insurance manager is responsible for supervising and monitoring the performance of all the employees in the team. Specific duties of an insurance manager include supervising the performance of various team members, meeting and exceeding revenue generation goals for the team; hiring, training and retaining best talent for the team; providing inputs to the organizational management by providing feedback and operational level information; ensuring best customer service experience to all customers; successfully implementing or executing the plans of management; promoting quality customer service experience in the team and performing other tasks assigned by the insurance director. An insurance manager typically reports to the insurance director.
An insurance manager should have an associate's degree or a bachelor's degree. Several years of experience in insurance operations are required. Ability to lead and motivate others is essential.
