Insurance Broker Jobs
A broker is responsible for meeting and exceeding the insurance quotas. Specific duties of an insurance broker include cold calling and prospecting for achieving selling targets, visiting customer's residence, giving various options to the customer through different insurance plans, tactfully handling objections raised by the customer, understanding the investment requirements of the customer, explaining customer about the policies available and the benefits associated, resolving any doubts or queries raised by the customer, attending training sessions designed for sales professionals, guiding trainee sales professionals and performing several other tasks assigned by the supervisor. An insurance broker typically reports to the insurance sales manager.
An insurance broker should have a high school diploma or an associate's degree in a relevant area. Prior experience working as a broker might be helpful. Excellent communication skills are essential.
