Aon is looking for a Counsel- EmploymentAs a Counsel you will report directly to the Chief Counsel. Your Impact as Counsel- EmploymentPrimary Responsibilities:Routinely advise to HR and business leaders on all aspects of the employee life cycle, including hiring, performance counseling, compensation, accommodations, leave, terminations, pay equity, and restrictive covenants.Advise on compliance with employment laws including: FLSA, ADA/ADAAA, ADEA, Title VII, EPA, FMLA, OWBPA and local leave laws.Assist with employment litigation including: non-compete and breach of contract claims, discrimination and retaliation claims, and wage and hour claims,Advise on matters related to employment agreements and compliance with restrictive covenants.Draft employment, separation, and compensation agreements.Conduct internal investigations.Assist with reductions in force and compliance with OWBPA.Handle OFCCP audits.Assist with affirmative action plans and EEO-1 reporting.Partner with HR regarding investigation of internal complaints.Assist in responding to pre-litigation demands and EEOC/agency charges.Provide employment law support on corporate transactions/deals.Review and revise employment policies.Skills and Knowledge Requirements:3-7 years of relevant employment law experience with law firm.
