Join our team of creative and caring people of all backgrounds, and help us make a difference in the lives of others.rnPRIMARY PURPOSE: To process payment checks received in accordance with company check processing guidelines; to process the regular monthly payment recovery files; to coordinate with collection agencies; and to support the Claims Recovery team within company standards and industry best practices.rnESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for assigned inventory of files with recovery; maintains a monthly diary to receive the payment from at-fault parties; and follows up with the payees if payment is late.rnrnEnters recoveries into various claim systems to ensure the recovery dollars are applied to appropriate claims file.rnrnWorks with collection agencies with appropriate to collect from at-fault parties; records details in claims file.rnrnUsing various search techniques, is responsible for skip tracing (finding someone who does not wish to be found).rnrnResponsible for obtaining a copy of the police report to support the recovery claim.rnrnProcesses invoices for various vendors involved in recovery, including attorneys, special investigators, medical experts, etc.rnrnProcesses checks received from adverse parties/payees for payment; maintains copies of all recoveries as required by internal and external auditors.rnrnResponsible for responding to clients' questions timely and professionally.rnrnAssists Salvage Associate with salvage disposition.rnrnResponsible for filing, faxing, photocopy, scanning and other general office functions; opens and distributes mail within the department.rnrnrnADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIESPerforms other duties as assigned.rnrnSupports the organization's quality program(s).rnrnrnQUALIFICATIONSrnrnEducation & LicensingHigh school diploma or GED required.rn rnExperienceOne (1) year of general office experience or equivalent combination of education and experiencerequired.
