We are working closely with an international reinsurance company based in beautiful Stamford, CT who is seeking a senior Casualty Treaty Underwriter with 6 - 12 years underwriting experience
What You’ll Do On This Job
Underwrite casualty treaty business including E&S, WC, Environmental Liability, MGA productions, Auto, and Healthcare Liability
Identify and assess treaty reinsurance opportunities structuring reinsurance programs accordingly
Develop sustainable relationships with clients and brokers
Collaborate with diverse teams including actuarial, financial, and claims teams to improve governance and operational business processes
Conduct negotiations with various parties regarding both new business and renewals
What You’ll Need To Qualify for This Job
University/college degree
Proven business relationship builder with strong industry connections
Solid analytical skills
Successful collaborator and team player
Great communicator, both in writing and in speech
What’s A Plus To Have
MBA or equivalent advanced degree
CPCU, ARE or equivalent
Compensation and Benefits
$130K - $150K base compensation depending on qualifications
